Simple yet dignified, the Alexander Palace is famous for being the home of the last Tzar of Imperial Russia. The palace is a single story mansion with large windows overlooking the formal gardens.

The Alexander Palace is a 4 bedroom 5 bathroom family home for the sophisticated sim-nobility. The palace is heavily based on the real life Alexander Palace located in Pushkin, Russia!

The Neo-Classical style mansion has a very subdued and humble elegance, nestled among geometric parterres in the formal garden and the distant natural landscape and waterways. The focal point of the facade is the peristyle of roman columns linking the two wings of the palace and the pastel yellow plaster gives a homely touch to this regal estate. In the interior, the north and south wings of the palace are linked by a great gallery bedecked with lavish mirrors and antique paintings.

The state rooms in the north wing are characterized by deep reds and gilded gold color schemes. The north wing contains rooms of royal function including the ballroom, music room, cabinet room, great dining hall and the Emperor's suite. Pale blues, whites and dark woods are the typical color scheme of the south wing which contains the private intimate spaces of the palace. The south wing includes two bedrooms for all four royal daughters , and the suite of the Crown Prince, as well as a well appointed library and kitchen.
