Arcady Ice Cream Parlour Pt. 1

Update: 15 August 2016 - Corrected a small error with the Strawberry Ice Cream and updated the text strings to read 'Grab a Dish' when you click on the activated (i.e. served) ice cream bucket. I also added a further bonus ice cream - banana.

So it's summer. And I thought, "I know what Polgannon needs - an ice cream parlour." What English summer is complete without ice cream on the seafront? So I made these:

It's a set of 12 ice creams. They are cloned from Crocobaura's lovely ice cream meshes which you can find HERE. The original meshes were based on the base game gelatin so your sims don't need to cook them. They can be 'cooked' by clicking on a fridge and selecting 'Make one' or 'Make many'. I used images of ice creams and fruits off the net and constructed the other parts of the textures myself. My idea is to have a set or brand of ice cream so your parlour has a consistent brand image. You can see the full range of ice creams themselves and the buckets they come in in the pictures. The varieties are:

• Black Cherry
• Blueberry
• Chocolate
• Chocolate Orange
• Coffee
• Mint Chocolate
• Neapolitan
• Pistachio
• Praline
• Raspberry Ripple
• Strawberry
• Tutti Frutti

There are also two bonus downloads of vanilla and banana after lauratje86 persuaded me to make some for her.

But, having said that, I was also inspired by InLovewithRed's smashing fruit sherbets and lientebollemeis's nice and whacky more unusual ice cream flavours. You might want to consider adding those to your parlour too since the variety available looks great together in a shop (if you squint at the pictures here you can see both sets of ice creams/sherbets blending in nicely amongst mine - you can also see 4w25's Blackcurrant Ice Cream Dessert on the counter there too).

Each Ice cream has two files - the ice cream itself on a lovely plate and a bucket which sits on your shelf or counter top. The ice creams are fully sellable in sim-owned shops and will stack 6-deep on Decra Chill Shelving. They are apparently very popular - I've been running an ice cream parlour all day and they've been selling like hot cakes - or cold cakes or whatever.

In addition there is another file called Crocobaura_Icecream Plate.package - this is a file from Crocobaura's original download and is necessary for the ice creams to work as intended (otherwise they'd be eating off the table top). If you already have some of Crocobaura's original ice creams, or InLovewithRed' sherbets or lientebollemeis's ice creams, you will already have this file since all these ice creams are based on the same mesh. You don't therefore need to keep the copy I uploaded here.
