I made the work from home option available for the astronaut career too. You can find other work from home creations here: http://modthesims.info/member.php?u=9942596

This mod enables the "work from home" option for the astronaut career. Working from home has the same mechanism that came with City Living careers. You will get a notification 1 hour before work where you can choose from sending your sim to work, working from home or taking PTO. Then you get two assignments if you choose the "work from home" option. A few examples of these assignments are below.

Astronaut (before choosing a branch)
  • get focused or energized
  • gain a logic, fittness or rocket science skill level
  • play chess
  • use observatory
  • talk about space
  • work on rocket ship
  • go on rocket ship mission
  • workout (treadmill, punching bag, jog, workout in space)

After choosing a branch, the assignments mentioned above can still come up, with some additions:

Interstellar smuggler
  • be mean or mischievous with aliens (lie, throw drink, etc.)
  • dig alien crater
  • harvest alien plant

Space ranger
  • be funny or friendly with aliens (compliment, do impression, etc.)
  • investigate alien geodes

The alien assigments will only be available with the Get to Work EP.

Your sim will get the same amount of money they would get by working a whole workday in the traditional way. One assignment grants half the daily wage since you get two assignments every day.

The levels, skill requirements, work days and wages per hour (if you choose to send your sim to work) remain the same as they were without any mods.
