The story behind this quaint county residence is based around a family who purchased an old plot of land in Appaloosa Plains. The plot was comprised of an old farmhouse and a large barn with a seperate attactched work shed. Unfortunatly, all three structures had been left abadnoned for years and now stood in quite a bad state of disrepair. The farmhouse had fallen into such a bad state, that the new family had no choice but to have it bulldozed, leaving them now with just the barn. However, a sudden burst of inspiration set them to a new project. They decided to renovate the old barn, and transform it into their new farmhouse.
A few months later, the task was complete and the once crumbling barn now stood as a fully refurbished two bedroom home. The lower horse stalls were removed, turning the space into an open kitchen and living area. The storage room on the side was converted into a guest bedroom, and the former tractor shed became a spacious two car garage. Over head, the hayloft became an open master bedroom, while the spaces in the very top of the barn were turned into a small private office. To top it all off, the family converted the attatched work shed into a brand new stable for their horses and built an all new enclosure for them to roam. Their new home complete, they lived happily ever after!
I loved building this home and am hoping you all enjoy placing it in your games as well! It's a wonderful country house for small families and couples, especially ones who want to own a few pets as well! I hope you enjoy playing it! Happy Simming!

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
