Hi everyone ,

Represented in her room, Marie-Antoinette plays the harp, surrounded by singers. At Versailles, the queen gives many concerts, especially in the gardens of the castle. She also organizes private auditions in her small apartments, as well as in Trianon.
This painting was made by the French artist Jean-Baptiste André Gautier-Dagoty (1740-1786) around 1775. It is currently preserved in the National Museum of the Palace of Versailles.
