This building has the original industrial touches of the former power plant, including the elevator, remnants of the original smoke stacks, concrete columns, skylights and gears. The units all include the original brick. This lot was designed to look like the power plant hood deco. Inspired by pre-gentrification Brooklyn of the early 2000s. Not wired for overhead lighting. Legality of the space as a habitable dwelling pending Court Order 343.239-GH

Two bedroom apartment, furnished with thrift store finds and leftovers from university.



Trustfund Baby

Dad owns the building. Currently a place for Junior to hang out with his buddies while he tries to get his Party DJ career off the ground. He majored in economics at Sim State. His neighbors all hate him.



Artist Collective

Shared space for impoverished artists. 4 bedroom nooks provide a limited amount of privacy. Woodburning stove. Microkitchen has a mini fridge and microwave.



Rent Control

An elderly couple who moved in in 1943 and hasn't left. It's fallen into disrepair but still maintains some of the original features from the early 20th century, including the traditional NYC bathtub in the kitchen. (It's a real thing.) Original wood floors have been replaced with cheap linoleum in the kitchen. The current residents pay $200 simoleons a week. Market value is slightly higher. In 8 years, this apartment will sell for $1.5 million.
