"No Place Like Gnome" Motel - Residential Lot (Only 1 CC.. and it's included!)

It may not be pretty – or quiet – but this franchise motel is at least the sheets are clean. The No Place Like Gnome Motel has eight single rooms, all equipped with a clean and comfortable double bed, eating area (aka two chairs and a table), kitchenette with fridge and microwave, in-room coffee, colour TV and dresser, plus a private three piece bathroom with fluffy clean towels. On-site amenities include our outdoor pool and patio (complete with grill!), plus a laundromat, public washroom, and stove for the bigger cooking tasks. Long term guests welcome. Hourly rentals not available. Credit card and ID required for all guests.

Currently, this lot is set to “Residential”, and with eight residents, your Sims would each need to earn about $600 / week to pay the rent (taxes). By locking individual hotel room doors, you can keep the "guests" in their places and out of the employee areas if you wish. Garbage cans and mailbox have been included if you want to run the lot this way. The lot type could easily be switched to “Generic” Community lot or public pool. (I am going to use it as a residential lot for a group of miserable siblings to live miserably in a miserable motel... and trust me... they're miserable. Apparently the pool and TV aren't "fun" enough for them.)

To build this lot, I made use of TwistedMexi's TOOL and Better Build/Buy to access and place debug/live edit objects. The chainlink fencing is technically an "off lot" object, so if you want to remove it, you will need TOOL.

There is only ONE piece of CC in this lot: an override version of the base game modular shelf The Immaculate (aptly named IMPROVED Immaculate) that I put together because it desperately needed more clutter slots.

Packs Used: Cottage Living, Eco Living, Seasons, Get Together, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Spa Day, Laundry Day, and Bloomin’ Rooms.
