This is a simple mod for The Sims 4 to speed up various gardening tasks, such as weeding, watering, planting and harvesting. The duration will be reduced by 50%.

Game versions
This mod supports previous and upcoming game versions as it is script based.
It has been tested with 1.87.40.
It will very likely never need an update.
Further updates are possible to fine-tune speed ups and to offer more variants.

Installation
This may be the smallest mod you've ever seen as it requires Live XML to work. Install Live XML first.

Just unzip the package file to your 'The Sims 4' folder. To extract it manually make sure that the The 'mod_data/live_xml/'faster_gardening.dict' file is extracted to 'The Sims 4/mod_data/live_xml/'faster_gardening.dict'.

This version is named v8.0 even though it is a brand new mod and technically not based on Faster Gardening Mod v7b which replaces XML tunings.


Tech Notes
This mod does not collide with other mods as it uses Python (actually Live XML does it) to modify the tuning files. The script adjusts the values within the current tunings.
If you use mods which override gardening tunings this mod will modify these tunings. '.package' files are loaded first, this mod runs later and modifies the content.
