Hey, everyone!

Today, I bring you all a CAS item that was requested by JQ King. So, @JQ King , this one's for you! Thank you for sharing this idea with me!

This is an Outfit-to-Bottom conversion of the Standard Swimming Trunks from 'Roaring Heights', from The Sims 3 Store. This is my second Outfit-to-Bottom conversion, so be sure to check out my other conversion:

The request was actually for a morph modification to include the Developed Pectoral Muscles morph to these swimming trunks, but I thought I'd do them one better with an Outfit-to-Bottom conversion that allows you to pair it with any top! This way, you can pair it with any of my Developed Pectoral Muscles morphs, like these nude tops:

Important note (or disclaimer?):

Original Store Sets are not required for these to work.

The reason for this is that Store content has messy GEOMs/LODs resources. (Thanks, EA! ?) So, in this case, in order for me to be able to modify a Store item's morph, I have to clone a Base Game or Expansion/Stuff pack clothing item and then replace everything in it, from mesh to textures, taken from the original Store item. This is done using TSR Workshop.
Original EA Preset with the new bottom morph/mesh from the Front:

Now, you can pair it with any top, or just leave your male sims shirtless!

This took for ever to get to work properly, mainly because of obstacles and roadblocks EA set up in their Store Sims3Pack files. Fortunately, with the help of some tutorials and Lyralei over at the Discord, and after so many trials and errors, I finally got it to work! Woo!

There are two versions available, as follows:
  • 'amBottomDecoSwimTrunk_mmaa': Outfit to Bottom conversion.
  • 'amBottomDecoSwimTrunk + CMarNYC Bulge_mmaa': Same as above, but morph is modified to include CmarNYC's 'You've Got a Package!' bulge morph: http://sexysims.info/download.php?t=173305

    Important note (or disclaimer?):

CmarNYC's policy, which can be found on their profile page, states that others are allowed to use/incorporate their work into new content, with credit!

So, credit goes to you, CmarNYC! Thank you for the incredible bulge morphs!

CmarNYC's Base Game Bulge morphs, in case anyone's interested, can be found here: http://sexysims.info/download.php?t=173305

CmarNYC's Master Suite Bulge morphs, in case anyone's interested, can be found here: http://sexysims.info/download.php?t=173761

By the way, just as a suggestion (hehe!), these shorts would go very well with any of my Developed Pectoral Muscles shirtless morphs, based on alex_stanton1983's original male nude top mesh morph, which you can check out at TSR:

Important note (or disclaimer?):

alex's last post was in 2011 according to his profile, so I hope he doesn't mind me using his mesh morph as reference. Credit goes to him!
CASTable (three channels) with EA's premade preset (only one), available under Swimwear, which is the original category from the original store package. Base Game compatible.

This was done using TSRWorkshop, Meshing Toolkit, S3OC and S3PE.

Polygon count:

LOD1 (High): 639 vertices and 1046 faces
LOD2 (Medium): 411 vertices and 607 faces
LOD3 (Low): 244 vertices and 324 faces

I have tested it in my game and it seems to work fine for now (see photos above). However, please feel free to test it out in yours and provide any feedback. Kindly note I'm still not an expert in meshing/morphing; still learning and getting the hang of it...
