Growfruit and PlantSims

Have you ever thought about making a PlantSim only to learn they are radically difficult to make happen, and stop once you realize they are only going to stay that way for 5 days? All the effort to get fruit, and they are temporary? Well, here's where my similar frustrations about PlantSims in TS4 bore fruit!

You can now get Forbidden Fruit of the PlantSim and Growfruit from the Starter Fruits seed packets.

Once you have opened the packets and receive the fruits, this is where the real game begins.
Have a sim eat the FFotP and see that the PlantSim buff no longer has a timer. Also, they will have the usually hidden trait visible in their personality panel.
Now that a sim is a PlantSim, they will stay that way forever. No turning back. Unless...

They eat a Growfruit, have them eat a Growfruit and they'll return to normal. But what's normal?
Normal is you also unlock the Growfruit Challenge gardening pots! Your sim doesn't even have to be a PlantSim, just eat a Growfruit and you have access to these limited time garden pots! (I really like them, and felt a bit annoyed that I had to cheat them in. Now, it's a gameplay feature of the mod!)

This mod changes the PlantSim trait and buff, also the Starter Fruit seed packet, so expect mod conflicts to occur with any other mods that alter these things.
