Hello everyone!

This build was born out of the need for my sim to look for a job using a computer without having funds necessary to buy a personal one. I also didn't want to use the one Mr Humble gives you. To my surprise, I built this only to find out that community lot computers can't be used to look for jobs.

When I went into this build I needed some inspiration as I've never built a library before, so I did a quick Google of famous libraries of the world and found a picture of the Abbey Library of St. Gallen in Switzerland. I instantly found my inspiration and wanted to build something similar, with bookshelves spanning two floors with an opening on the second floor for you to see below. Of course, it's not as gorgeous as the reference, but I accomplished bringing the core architectural elements I liked. I had an idea for the interior, but still needed something nice for the exterior, so I though about making this building a repurposed old townhall. I referenced some typical USA white buildings that looked important and mushed it with the idea of a library, and that's how this came to be!

I'm really proud of how it looks, so I decided to upload it and see if anyone likes it.

Things your sims can do in this lot
  • Read books, of course!
  • Use computers
  • Play chess
  • Paint on easels
  • Chill and talk on couches or outside benches
  • Read more books!

There may not be a lot to do, but I think it's great even if you want to add it into your hood merely out of aesthetics. Who doesn't like a good library? :D
