My player owned grocery store was at level 10, I had every wholesale discount and yet my daily profits were tiny in comparison to the new electronics store next door. Because the price of the item is mostly irrelevant to how long a sim spends deciding if they will purchase it. The sale speed varies depending on other factors such as customer loyalty, customer interest and shopper type.

Mod details:

Note: The changes I have made affect the maximum amount of time a shopper will spend deciding on a purchase, not the average time. Customer loyalty and pickiness still have the largest influence on purchase speed.

So what does this mean for gameplay?

1) Low value items are faster and easier to sell, therefore restaurants and entertainment venues no longer need a sales person.

2) Low value items are better for gaining customer loyalty stars quickly, this makes it easier for new businesses to rank up.

3) Picky customers are easier to spot because they are far more indecisive.
