Parkside Plaza (Nightlife Required)

Right. This, my third submission, may arguably be the most ambitious building I've attempted so far in terms of sheer character. The construction was simple enough, but the level of detail needed to complete this to my satisfaction almost drove me to drink.

It's a thriving modern mini-mall that reminds me of a combination of two buildings I admire in Halifax, NS and a building in Moncton, NB where my aunt runs one of her esthetics shops. The mall comes complete with the sort of small locally-owned stores and kiosks you can expect from a well-to-do suburban area. It can be placed in any of the neighborhood, university, or downtown views and looks best oriented on a right-hand street corner (Like so: L)

Dialup Warning: The lot is .rar compressed down to a hair under 4.2 megs in size. The uncompressed .Sims2Pack is a rather chubby 17.1 megs in size. Download (or not) accordingly.

I can pretty much guarantee that both expansion packs will be required as I use objects that are exclusive to each.

The mall itself contains no custom content. However, I've populated the parking lot using the following two (probably optional) vehicular packages:

Buyable Vehicles / No Moveobjects needed for Cars by Petreak.

Harley Davidson - MotorBike by mickyss.


No cheats were needed to create this, so you're unlikely to damage anything by customizing things a bit. You might consider using the moveObjects cheat to attach the parking lot to the side street. Or not. It's up to you.

M. Sim T&T kiosk (cell phones and portable electronics)
