Bidet and Valerian have been best friends since they were very small, and they didn't hang around once they aged to teens.

Halinka "Hayley" Nechovek and Oskar Biancowski:

Halinka grew up with her parents Detective Titus Nechovek and Kagura, as well as her paternal grandparents Roland and Xeleno. Oskar is an only child with just his mother as his only family. Both Halinka and Oskar grew up in the southern, more barren part of Zaarbville, but the Nechoveks moved further down south to Muyvoda county, San Guillermo when the 2 were still kids, but before then the both of them would have a pretty strong childhood friendship. Not long after the move, Halinka's parents would conceive their second child, Midori.

Halinka is a very socially awkward and unaware girl but is an absolute wizard when it comes to mechanics, a trait that dates all the way back to her grandfather's days of working on the energy mills in Outalasko. Upon moving into town, she became close friends with Johnny Smith and Heath Patch who were members of the school mechanics club. She doesn't make friends easily outside of that, not helped by the fact that she has a habit of reeking of engine oil.

Oskar has always been a sweet and thoughtful boy underneath a gruff exterior, and not having any other family of his own, was depressed after Halinka moved away. He took up a great interest in painting to deal with it. His mother, Kasandra, is a well learned individual who's worked in both labs and classrooms, and also a stern, yet caring, guardian to her son. Some years later, Kasandra would make the leap to take up a job at the Muyvoda school district and the 2 kids would finally be reunited, now well into their hormone-addled teenage years. They would pretty quickly form a romantic relationship

Trev O'Shea is "only" a townie, but some in the Veronaville gay scene think he's the best looking gay boy in the whole Grand Duchy. I think they may be right.


Here he is outside the Monopolis Changing Hut with a boyfriend called Kyle Horner. Kyle is staying in the Changing Hut just now, but is expected to become a townie soon too.

It's a free hair by Peggy. The mesh file is Peggy_Mh080118_juice0073_mesh.package and Kyle has the blonde texture Peggy_Mh080118_juice0073_blonde.package. It is for all ages from toddler to elder, and is also available in colours: black, brown, camel, coffee, gold, goldbrown, red and silver. Peggy closed her peggyzone site a few years ago, But I thought Peggy's free hairs were all available on Garden of Shadows here, but this hair isn't there. I think I downloaded it from peggyzone when it was still active. Since I can't find it online, I've shared it here on Sim File Share. (I've also sent the link to Hermit Fox at Garden of Shadows so they can add it to the male hair archive there.)

When I think about it, it wasn't Garden of Shadows where I saw all Peggy's hairs shared after peggyzone closed; it was Simscave. If I remember rightly it was an administrator there with a a long user name beginning with "sora" who shared them all. And it was much easier downloading them there than it had been on the old peggyzone (where you had to download the textures one by one). But unfortunately I can't get onto Simscave today as I have forgotten my password there. For reasons not entirely clear to me, Simscave tells us not to use the same user name or password that we use on other Sims sites. I can remember my user name there (named after a Sim in my game), but can't remember my password. So I can't see what's there.

And now as a bonus, since this is a picture thread, here is a picture of the newest teen to arrive in downtown Veronaville:

He only arrived here on 21st July, less than a month ago, but already I can't remember why I added him to my game. Still, he's here now, so I promise to do my best to look after him.
"Welcome to Veronaville, Marmie! Or do you prefer 'Duke'?"

P.S. I've remembered why I added Marmeduke to my game. His hair (this one by minanna) was suffering from "Bright CAS" syndrome, so the easiest way to see how it would look in-game, was to save him to my game, and let him enjoy life in the Grand Duchy of Veronaville. Of course "Bright CAS" wasn't even a thing when minanna made his hair nearly twenty years ago, but I can probably fix it in Milkshape anyway.

Is there not a reset password option?

Yes but it didn't work. Simscave said they'd sent me an email, but I didn't get it. Not even in my spam folder. I might try again. I think there was also an option to answer a "secret" question, as a way of resetting my password, so I might try that way.

I find it a bit odd that Simscave wanted me to use a different user name to the one I use on other Sims sites. As I recall, the username I used there was "Hans Moltke", which I suppose means I could be accused of impersonating a child! (For those who don't know him, Hans Moltke is a child Sim in my game -- the younger brother of Julian and Brigitte Moltke.) But seeing that Hans aged up from a toddler to a child in early 2013, he should be well on the way to becoming an adult by now, even by Real Life standards! But of course I play with Aging almost permanently off, so he's still a child.

As this is the teen picture thread, I'll add a couple of pictures of a teen in my game. One I've just mentioned -- Brigitte Moltke! And young Hans is in these two pictures too!


Brigitte and Hans are dancing together in the downstairs bathroom. Behind them you can dimly see their dad Martin getting a shower. Fortunately the position of Hans's head stops you seeing anything you shouldn't! I love the way that Sims use their bathrooms.


Hans and Brigitte are eating lunch meat sandwiches. I'm pretty sure the sandwiches are what Brigitte served up for lunch. She only has two cooking points. Brigitte is to date the only child in my game to age up to child. I like playing teens, but there are lots of them in my game, many made in CAS, so I tend to keep the children as children so there will still be plenty of playmates for the other kids. In this picture Brigitte is sporting her new hairstyle; the one she got to stop her looking like Gloria!

On the subject of Simscave, I wonder if there's anyone from Simscave here on MTS, who could help me to get back in.

P.S. I've just noticed that the Moltkes' dining chairs are very similar to the one I'm sitting on at my kitchen table to play The Sims! Who says Maxis furniture isn't realistic?
