Well I live in Bradford, England (In the rich people's area, gosh not the council estates) And the chavs never wear short skirts, or lacoste tracksuits! It's always big gold hooped earrings, a nike tracksuit with the tracksuit bottoms tucked into their socks, a burberry cap, and big gold necklaces...You usually find them hanging around Iceland and Pounstretcher...But how would you know you're American. I can't picture what your version of a chav looks like...

The chavs where I'm from pretty much wear any tracksuit, the girls sometimes wear skirts but not very often, they tend to stick to tracksuits as well, often ones that are pink lol. I'm amazed that chavs have actually seemed to make a name for themselves in the states, it's like they're spreading their foul dress sense and attitudes world wide lol. Also big hooped earings and plenty of gold are worn, with tracky bottoms tucked in socks.

You see ever since I’ve moved away from a town in Scotland near Glasgow to Ireland I have always wanted to make a little village just like the place I use to live but you see I have always felt something incomplete and that’s what it was! A perfect replica of what a chav would wear and thanks for your download. Mind you it surprising that people in the USA has heard of the chavs, I suppose in the USA they would have their own sort of chavs. So thanks again I was starting too forget what chavs looked like as where i now live its more in the country not in the city and people in the country are diffrent i guess!

By the way, "chav" isn't an insult, it's like the opposite of a goth or punk. And I'm not saying that cos I'm one cos I'm emo! Nice to hear that "the great british chav" has made it across the atlantic, though.....

I've been searching for a decent Chav outfit for my sims forever - and as someone who lives near to a council estate I can tell you that you DID hit the mark - Chavs DO wear tracksuits like this sometimes. Someone once told me that Chav stood for Council House And Violent, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Either or, I'm beyond happy to finally have found the type of outfit I was looking for.
