Thank you! This is typical of the 1950s and early 1960s.

That is very beautiful transparent slip.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

I love it, is there any way to get it without the skirt also?

Here is the very easy way to remove the petticoat in ten steps:
1. In Body Shop, click "Create Parts".
2. Find the outfit in the Underwear section and click "Export Selected Textures". Name it.
3. Open your graphics programme (any will work, even MS Paint).
4. In your graphics programme, click "Open" and go to My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects. Find the folder for this outfit: there will be six picture files, but we are only concerned with two. Open the one called "body_alpha3~stdMatBaseTextureName_alpha".
5. Colour the entire thing black and save.
6. Open the file "body_alpha5~stdMatBaseTextureName_alpha".
7. Colour the entire thing black and save.
8. Go back to Body Shop and click "Refresh Preview Sim". You will see a bra and underwear, but no petticoat!
9. Make sure that the clothing category you want it to appear in is highlighted (Underwear, and anywhere else if you want it to appear there too).
10. Click "Import to Game". You're done! :D

No, I'm sorry, it won't, because the shoe part of the mesh is not alpha-editable. You could copy the body texture and alpha files onto a separate mesh and remove the shoe part of the alpha, but you won't have the petticoat unless the new mesh also has the semi-solid layer I used for the petticoat. However you could still have the nice bra and underwear

That dresser is beautiful...may I ask where you got that? I don't remember seeing it in-game.
