Awesome, except for the dependent textures part, which makes it so that all my teens and adults have the EXACT SAME THING in their closet. Please consider making non-dependent textures next time.

Other folks have asked for the same thing, but it would be more work for me. I always make dependent for myself and I start with N recolors of black pants. If I wanted to start with N recolors where each had a different color, that would take me more time. I might consider it when I have more time, probably when the kiddo is older.

I have a tiny disk and I don't mind having the same colors for all ages so texture referencing recolors make sense for me. Why use three times the disk space when I don't have to? If you prefer different colors, you can easily make some in body shop. To make some adult colors for just teens or just elders, get the adult texture out with body shop, make a new teen or elder recolor with that texture. Then get rid of the adult original. Now your teen or elder has that color and the adult doesn't. If you don't want body shop munging textures and making them blurry, do it with SimPE.

I do plan on making some patterned shirts for teens and elders that have different textures than adults, but for taupe pants, I figure they all need taupe pants.

Cat, can you explain a bit more about Bun's mesh and your mesh? I think i have Bun's mesh, but what is different about yours? Currently I have these pants as a default for pants at the end of the catalog, if I use your mesh will that mess up the default or will i gain both?

Bun and I both made an elder mesh. I used bun's file, so you can replace bun's file with my file and everything will continue to work just fine. Your default replacements will continue to work just fine. The only difference is my mesh is a bit slimmer around the hips so it fits better under shirts. My mesh is pictured. If you used bun's elder mesh, it would be poking out through that shirt.

Thanks Cat, they are wonderful. I understand why you do the repository technique, and it's your creations so you do however best for you. If anyone wants it differently, there's plenty tutorials out there that would teach you how to un-repository them for your own use (aka just make a new recolor with the textures). That's what I do when I want different colors for different ages.

Do you ever take requests? I'm guessing not, but hopefully no harm in asking

alt link for adult mesh is marked as malicious by my browser and the main download doesn't work for some reason... let me know if this changes because I want this but I'm not downloading until the mesh site works.

Thank god it's not just me! I'm having the same problems. And I really want these. The link to Mikexx2 is working but when I try to download the file, it too is being flagged as malicious by my browser. Just wondering if anyone else is having that problem.

What's marked as malicious? The new link I just put up yesterday? Could be your malware detector is suspicious of mediafire. However, I know I didn't put anything malicious in that file. It's just recolors and meshes.

huh it didnt mark it today so I grabbed it, I dunno what happened other than the one on the original site's mirror used the same host and that one was marked as malicious and it was temp marking the whole site...
