Sam Merlotte
Sam Merlotte is a sweet bar owner with a bit of a wild side and a cute little doggie. If you watch True Blood.... SHHH! Please don't discuss the plot in this thread. We don't want to spoil it for folks who haven't seen it yet right? Right. Good. Extra special thanks to all the custom content creators mentioned below, and to the actors, writers, and entire crew that makes True Blood. Particularly Sam Trammell who portrays Mr. Merlotte so well.

Recommended but Not Included
  • Maxis skin. This sim uses default Maxis skin. If you have default-replacement skins installed, please download the light non-default Maxis skin here and put it on him in CAS.

  • Default-Replacement pet eyes. Dog is pictured with awasegg's "Enchanting Natural" default-replacement pet eyes, available here.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

  • If you get an error that says "This content requires expansion pack data that is not installed", please use either Clean Installer to install this sim.

I think your True Blood characters are absolutely spectacular. Very accurate and totally recognizable, even the dog! I hope you don't lose interest before you are able to finish with the main characters at least. Jason, Tara, Eric and Lafayette? Please say you'll bring these all to life. You do it so well!

I really hoope your planning to make the rest of the cast... Sookie's brother is always getting himself into so much trouble.. he'd make a great Sim. And we have to have a Tara. Great work... you rule

PS Since you have a thing for creating great characters.. any chance your planning to do the Twilight Saga cast? I think you'd be brilliant.

Wow, thank you so much madamejeanie ....and everyone else. Those characters are all on my to-do list, madamejeanie, but I haven't started them yet so have no idea when/if they'll be finished.

And Jennixst29, no, there's about zero chance of me making the Twilight cast. I've never seen Twilight and doubt I'd like it as much as True Blood.

Awww, Sam and Dean look way awesome!!! And in response to the Twilight thingy above, I don't think you'll like it, it's too...sparkly and mamby pamby sweet. I'd rate even the last book a possible PG-13. Stick with the rated-R Vampire series

Fansee, I have a confession to make :
I used to hate maxis sims (with maxis skins) but i must say that you are the first creator that changed my mind ...I don't know how you do it, but yours sims are so adorable !!!
I just love the talent you have to make them... alive , even with maxis skins!!!
I really love your sims,they are cute beyond words!!!
And the dog...cutiecutiecutie !!!
