I wanted my Simstones to be able to work on their skills so I recolored a couple of hobby items for them to use. For the bookcases, I was able to recolor the books on the shelf, but when they pull a book out, it is the same green Maxis book they always pull out.

I recolored nikkibailey's simpax box mesh and annapic's kitchen jars for some counter top decorations in the kitchen.

This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
