Title: Half Past Midnight
Category: Residental

Lot size: 3x3
Price: $90,000
Furnished: Mainly Maxis with cc windows, doors, walls and floors / see credits below
Playtested: Yes, by myself for seven game days

This is a house I built while waiting for Seasons to be released. Therefor, it should only require NL and OfB installed, although it was built with all Ep's and Sp's up to Pets installed.

I had this vision, of how the midnight blue sidings I created, would look stunning against snow once Seasons came out. I left a big backyard untouched, with room for adding orchard threes, garden plots, a pond and even a greenhouse. Regardless, even if you don't have Seasons, or planning on getting it, I think this is a house that would look nice in an ordinary suburbia hood without seasons.

This is a house that easily could fit a family of up to six sims. The front of the house has a medium sized porsh. Also, notice on the pic's below, the small balcony up in the attict on the back of the house.

A nice touch I think, is the ladder leading up to the garage roof. On the garage roof you can relax in the jacuzzi, or spy on your neighbours with the telescope.

On the first floor, the kitchen and livingroom are located in one huge room, as that's the way I prefere it. From the kitchen you have easy access to the solarium where your sims can curl up and read a book on a rainy/snowy day.
You'll also find the master bedroom with adjoined nursery on the first floor. The nursery can be turned into a closet, a reading room, or whatever you simmies wish. Also notice on the pic's, the bathroom with separated area for bath/shower and natures call. I've also built a small room located just before you step out on the small backyard porsh. It can function like a small hall with clothes rack and such.

Finally, the attic. It has a huge hallway that can be turned into a great entertainment area. You'll also find a large bedroom with a small balcony and two bathrooms. (The smaller bathroom isn't perhaps nessesary, and can be turned into a office or something else.)
Finally, I've also squeezed in a library with a small fireplace. Arches leads out to the hallway.

It's mostly unfurnished and undecorated, as I wasn't really in the mood for that. I've just tossed in some basic furnishing to give you and idea about how to utilize the rooms.

Oh, and on the top part of the chimey and on the garage roof, I've used a hidden Maxis brick wall. You won't be able to delete that wall the usual way, instead you will have to paint it over with a new wall, in case you want to refurbish the house. (That is, unless you haven't unlocked Maxis hidden walls in your game, then it'll work just like any other wall.)
