This family had few money at that time when them baby's became children.
Parents bought only the most necessary.
Happiness, they had the grandmother!
It is more than happiness - the grandmother was able to knit!
The grandmother knitted bed bedding for children in the winter.

(This grandmother very much likes to knit. Probably she will do still bed bedding while the wool does not come to an end!)
