So, I've been leeching off the fine craftsmanship (and links) of MTS2 for a while now, and I decided yesterday, after spending all of my free time in the past week or so...messing about with Free Time, that I need to not play the Sims for a bit... do something useful. So, what do I find myself doing? Making content.

I've never actually done that (and finished) before, so that would make this my first ever upload. Comments/Suggestions/Brutal verbal maulings welcomed and encouraged!

Genensims.com has some very nice skins on it. And that is (I would daresay "obviously") what my two little skins here are adjusting. All of the credit for the hard stuff of these skins lies very firmly out of my hands.

I have had the various "big cat" skins from genensims.com for...a good amount of time, and I like my simming to progress almost naturally. So, there's normal sims afoot, and fuzzy sims all around. When they make babies, they're fuzzy. I figure there should be something in between, now and then.

I did see another upload a while ago of something similar, but I didn't like it much, because I prefer the slightly cartoony look of Maxis skins over all the "extra beautiful" ones, so I set out to create my own.

UPDATE: There are geneticized versions of both skins available. Their genetic numbering is roughly equivalent to the amount of fuzz they have. Note that their GUIDs are the same as the ungeneticized versions, so you SHOULD NOT have both at the same time. You can safely replace the old with the new, sims should still have the skin.

Genensims has geneticized versions of their skins available there. Also note that if you have a geneticized cheetah skin, let's say, and they make babies with a normal sim, they can still get these skins. It's not smart enough to differentiate, so I suggest just having tiger skins geneticized, when using these skins.

Skin #1 is a very obvious combination of the standard Maxis light skin alone with Genensim's Orange Tiger skin.

And skin #2 is the reverse. Literally. It's considerably more subtle of a difference from the true tiger skin, although I think it's a good thing to have for a bit of variety.

As you can see, the tiger stripes are somewhat faded... I sometimes think the color of the original orange tiger is a bit harsh.

Those awesome eyes, by the way, come from Sheyza, here. (That's also my personal favorite skin around, but it's not so suited to the type of thing I did here.)
