This mod is, in essence, a mod of a mod: Specifically, arek_91's Youth Wish Fix.

I hadn't realized that was even in the game, but I thought it was pretty cool...except that I've had teen witches and vampires and such, and really thought that Sims should be able to keep that stuff when getting changed back to a teen.

So...that's what we've got here.

As we can see, a vampire adult...


Becomes a vampire teen!



The same applies to Witches and Werewolves.

Since there are no plant sim teens, a plant sim wishing for youth will be cured of plantsimism.


Zombies, Bigfoot, Servos, and pregnant people still cannot wish for youth. While technically there can be teen Zombies...I don't really think it's too sensible.

Of course, if people want that, I can make another alteration that'll do that, too.

In addition, while I was thinking about it, it occurred to me that the game will allow sims to have their marriages and things kept, although there's really no point in that if you don't have InTeen or some other mod that lets teens do adult stuff. It was a simple change, so I figured I'd include that as an option.

What you need!

There are 3 different packages I have uploaded, but you should only use one of them:
  • mk-youthwishfix_keepAll
    When the sim wishes for Youth, nothing but plantsimism and pensions (who's gonna pay a teen a pension, anyway?) will be removed from the sim.

  • mk-youthwishfix_keepAllOccult
    When the sim wishes for Youth, they will lose their job and their relationships (that is, no more loves or marriages), but keep their Witchiness, Vampirism, or Lycanthropy. This is the best choice if you don't have teen-relation mods.

  • mk-youthwishfix_keepJobAndRelations
    When the sim wishes for Youth, they will keep their job level, and all their loves, but will no longer be a witch, vampire, or werewolf.

Some extra information:
Whichever version you pick, the following information is always true:
  • Elders will also become teens.
  • Sims living alone can wish for youth. The game doesn't care if a teen is alone. Once they're a teen, you can still move them around just like any other family, even without extra mods.
  • Sims who went through college keep their extra want slots. They don't forget everything, I figure, so why lose that?
  • There should be no conflicts with any mod at all, except ones that modify genie wishes...I can't guarantee those will work out.
  • I...neglected to change the warning before the Sim gets changed. What it says isn't really correct because of that. You don't lose whatever it is you pick.

  • This mod (and all its variations) was tested with all expansion packs running. Although as far as I can tell, it should work fine for any combination, as long as you have FreeTime.
