Well, I have to test how fast my download speed is sometime! I think I'll move my legacy to Liberty and start off fresh! Wow, this is great! And I'm a sucker for a description that advertises their product without making me feel bad or being boring! You're good at this! Downloading in 3...2...1...

SAGGG: Yes, all the homes and businesses pictured are mine and I'm releasing them on MTS2 over the next few weeks and months

Clinky and steelmagpie: I hope your families enjoy the move to Liberty. I've been tweaking the terrain on and off in SC4 for nearly 2 years and I've found it works really well when you want to build a legacy/neighbourhood up from scratch.

Thanks everyone for your kind words - it's a really nice start to the day (8am in Sydney atm) :D

stunning! Well done! can't wait to see your beaut homes. And thanks for explaining what to do with the files. I can download and place objects blind-folded, but this is new 'terrain' to me.

Hi kashep37, let's see if I can help. See my hastily put together little tutorial below.

So, firstly unzip the contents of 'Liberty Neighbourhood.zip' and put the files in C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Computer's Log-In/User]\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\SC4Terrains (note: Don't put the files in your usual Downloads folder). Now start The Sims 2.

1.

Using the arrow on the left of the screen select the next page of neighbourhoods. Keep pressing the arrow until you see the option to 'Create Custom Neighbourhood'. Click to create a new neighbourhood. Select 'YES' from the pop-up box.

2.

Find Liberty in the list of terrains that are available. They are in alphabetical order.

3.

Now you can name your 'hood, choose lush, desert, dirt or concrete terrain and then click the big tick to load your new neighbourhood.

Let me know if you're still having trouble

Thank you...I like your "hood",and the layout of the homes that you show in your presentation.
I take the time to read all that the creators write; I'd miss a lot of really interesting, talented and (funny!) descriptions otherwise!
To make a short story long,I plan to keep an eye out for your great looking homes *pops self upside head for breaking promise to not add anymore homes to game* Again...,thanks!

A camera hack helps, but I don't have one installed at the moment and I was surprised to find that I could still reach just about everywhere.
