Canvas Valuer (Revalues finished paintings)
This mod won't necessarily make you rich! It's just a tweak to how finished paintings are valued.
Readme contents follows (also included in the archive)...
There are 3 *.package files included in the archive. You can use all, some, one, or none of them.
These tweak the value of finished paintings a bit.
--------------------------------------------
"Nth", used below, will mean "Number of total Paintings you've finished in the past". This is used as a modifier on the current painting's value.
Min/Max is a modifier multiplied against the total value of the painting (after such things as the "Nth" modifier was applied).
Appreciation ("App") is YourSkillLevel * AppreciationValue = value the painting gains every 48hrs.
Base values are based on your skill range (0-10), and are unchanged other than for Small paintings. These are the initial values of a painting.
Default values are shown in parans "(n.nn)", if a new value was used.
--------------------------------------------
--Large paintings are nearly identical with the defaults, however they tend to have a steadier income level (less variance in the Min/Max value), and the appreciation value has been worsened some (by about 33% less $ every 48hrs).
Good steady income, but not very great to hang onto over time.
Base Values are unchanged (30, 50, 80, 110, 150, 220, 425, 600, 750)
6 * Nth
Min: 0.90 (was 0.75) || Max: 1.25
App: 0.30 (was 0.75)
--Medium paintings have a lower Min. value, and slightly lower Max value. The modifier per paintings done has been increased slightly, from 5 to 6 (eg: you painted 10 paintings in the past, you get 10 * 6 = $60 bonus). The appreciation value has been increased.
Good investment paintings, hang onto the higher valued ones.
Base values are unchanged (10, 15, 25, 40, 75, 110, 150, 225, 310, 400, 525)
5 * Nth (was 4 *)
Min: 0.65 (was 0.75) || Max: 1.20 (was 1.25)
App: 0.95 (was 0.75)
--Small paintings have a much lower Min. value, and a much higher Max. value. As well the appreciation value has been reduced. Unlike Large and Medium, I've also tweaked a couple of the default values (base values) per skill for the first couple tiers..
Risky, but if it gets a good roll on the modifiers, these pay out handsomely. It's like gambling, only dumber!
Base Values:
Skill 0: $3 (was $1), Skill 1: $5 (was $3) rest are defaults; 8, 12, 21, 30, 55, 100, 145, 200, 280
2 * Nth
Min: 0.15 (was 0.75) || Max: 2.85 (was 1.25)
App: 0.35 (was 0.75)
In a nutshell:
Large for steady income.
Med for investment (on high valued paintings)
Small for gambling!
Enjoy!
