This agemod package attempts to combine the maximum amount of realism with the minimum overall Sim age-length. The package includes four files:
Nepheris1day=1season (Seasons required)
Nepheris1semester=48hours (University required)
Nepheris4days=1year
Nepheris4days=1yearPets (Pets required)
According to this ratio, 1 Sim day equals 1 Season (3 months), making 4 Sim days the equivalent of 1 year. With the 1day=1season mod, your Sims can now experience all four seasons in one year! The other neat bit is that the default pregnancy length of 3 days (which can't be altered with a mod) equals 9 months with this ratio
Sims
Baby: 8 days --> 0-2 years
Toddler: 16 days --> 2-6 years - when kids start primary school
Child: 24 days --> 6-12 years - when kids start highschool
Teen: 24 days --> 12-18 years - when teens start university
Young Adult: 16 days --> 18-22 years - four years of higher education. (One semester = 2 days)
Adult: 172 days --> 22-65 years - when most adults retire
Elder: between 65-95 years - depends on aspiration level when transitioned
Pets
Kitten: 4 days --> 0-1 year
Adult Cat: 52 days --> 1-14 years
Puppy: 4 days --> 0-1 year
Adult Large Dog: 40 days --> 1-10 years
Adult Small Dog: 48 days --> 1-12 years
Elder Cat & Dog: 16 days --> 4 years
You might be interested to combine this mod with lientebollemeis' Harder Skill Learning. To distinguish between fresh-from-college Sims and middle-aged Sims, mistyblue4's Facial Effects are handy to add some wrinkles and things to your older Sims' faces.
