Market Street Apartments

Three small 1 bedroom, one bath apartments which are made to appear to be above old shops. The shops serve as community areas where your Sims can socialize and skill.



Building 1 has a single bed, living area, eat-in kitchen with study area, and a terrace. The first floor is meant to resemble a used book/curiosity shop, with a juice bar and comfy chairs to read in.



Apartment 2 has a bachelor pad feel, with a double bed, small living area, kitchen and bath. Built above the "art studio", with easels, pottery wheel, and sewing machine for use by your Sims.



Building 3 has a double bed, desk, kitchen with dining table, and sitting area with t.v. It is built above the neighborhood bar, with a chess set and grill outside.



To Rent Furnished Apartments:
Before you rent the apartment:

CTRL-SHIFT-C to bring up the cheat box.
Enter the following cheat: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
Walk your sim to the front door of the apartment that you want to rent. They need to be standing right in front of the door.
Clear any actions from your sim's queue - including other sims trying to talk to them.
SHIFT-click on the door of the apartment you wish to rent and choose "Rent Furnished."
If the action falls out of your queue, your sim probably needs to be closer to the door.
Once the apartment is rented, bring up the cheat box again.
Enter: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false to turn the cheat off again.

MogHughson has a mod for apartments and shopping on the same lot. I have not tried it, but you may like to. Of course you would need to do some adjustments to the shops.

This lot has been playtested. I was able to rent every apartment and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my Sims gained skills when they studied and painted in the shop areas.

The only CC in this lot are walls from pixelhate's The Time Factor Collection.
