Mod The Sims - Eight Elements

Some people started questioning me about the names I used for my cats and dogs, so I made a little chart. My sources are the Wiki, some other websites, and some books I got at home. I shortened and simplified most of the information.

Erebus (Darkness)
In Greek mythology, primordial deity of the darkness, born of Chaos.

Artemis (Earth)
In Greek mythology, goddess of chastity, virginity, the hunt, the moon, and the natural environment [...] protector of nature and the hunt; both wild and tame animals were under her protection. She also protected the agriculture and animal herding.

Wyvern (Thunder)
In the fantasy genre, the wyvern [...] is regarded as the distant, lesser cousin to the dragon. They rarely spit fire, and are usually rather associated with bad weathers and storms.

I could go on and add more references, but I am sure you get the idea.

Inferno (Fire)
You probably know that one. From italian and latin, big fire from hell.

Boreal (Ice)
Derived from Boreas.
In Greek mythology, god of the cold north wind, bringer of winter.

Helios (Holy)
In Greek mythology, the Sun, symbol of the happiest, healthiest things in life.

Poseidon (Water)
In Greek mythology, god of the sea.

Aura (wind)
In Greek mythology, titan goddess of the breeze and fresh cool air of the morning.

Hermes (wind)
In Greek mythology, the god of transitions, boundaries and free movement, also a messenger.
