Tasty entrées and romantic nights are both on the menu at the Candlelit Fork, Sim Town's latest taste sensation! Sample our spread from the kitchen then sip a seductive cocktail from the bar upstairs!

I was always fascinated by the Candlelit Fork Restaurant. I always thought it was really fancy, and I would love to have it on my Sims 2 game. So I built it. It turned out to be harder than I hoped it would, because there were some things that could not be done in Sims 2 that the restaurant had in Freeplay. Also, I decided to make it CC-free, making it even harder to get every detail right. But I'm pleased with the result.

You can park in the car park outside and enter the foyer, briefly walking in a red carpet like a celebrity. After being seated, a waiter will come and take your order. Waiting times are generally short, due to our experienced, hard-working employees and state-of-the-art appliances.

During your meal, you will have the chance to listen to our world renowned pianist, Eugene Kissing (imaginary bonus point if you get the reference). You can then climb the stairs to our lounge and bar area.

The lounge is an open area, with marble floors inside and wooden planks outside. The bar is filled with bottles of the finest wine and the best nectar. Enjoy our "Candlelit Juice", a drink so good that the former owner refused to sell it, so that he could drink it all.

This is my version of the "Candlelit Fork Restaurant" from Sims FreePlay. I wanted to make it as true as possible to the original, but some things had to be changed. For example, the fireplace on the second floor. Apparently, it can't be placed next to the chimney, so I moved it. Another noticeable change are the tables and chairs of the dining area. I just thought it looks better like this.

Even though there is no custom content at all in this lot, I would recommend two:
- Park In the Car Park by MogHughson @ModTheSims
- Perfect Plants by twojeffs @Simbology
Park in the Car Park is not essencial, it's just to make your Sims actually park in the car park. Perfect Plants is more necessary, because if you run the restaurant as an owned community lot, you won't be able to tend the shrubs in the roof. You could just sell the shrubs and buy them again, if you wish.

Anyway, I hope you like it!
