Contemporary Courtyard ~ 4 bedroom/2 bath with garage - UNFURNISHED

This is a great family home with four bedrooms, two full baths, and formal and informal living areas. There is lots of room to play outside too - with deck extensions from the family room and living room, as well as a connecting deck between the kitchen and garage that is perfect for grilling. The back yard is huge! ...with plenty of room to add a pool or your favorite sports court. And - don't forget the serene courtyard (or atrium) that is the focal centerpiece for this home.


This home is UNfurnished; and as you would expect to find when moving into a RL house - the plumbing, appliances, and electrical are already in place. There is a phone on the wall in the family room. The burglar alarm is active, and fire alarms (invisible ones) are located by the stove, grill, and fireplace. The media center area is wired for cable and hi-speed internet - all you have to do is add the furniture. I have taken the liberty of decorating a bit (with mostly Maxis walls/floors) Please feel free to redecorate to suite your sims needs and tastes.


Due to the inaccessibility of the courtyard garden, I suggest using Perfect Plants or Perfect Gardens from Simbology. Of course, you could also remodel and remove the deck railing, or add a door to the garden from the side garage wall.

This home is based on Design #V44317 in a blueprint "collection" book from Home Planners, Inc. (circa 1984)
