I have added another version of this trait (Gardener Trait V2) that includes all things herbalism rather than baking.



DESCRIPTION

Sims with the Gardener Trait have the greenest of thumbs and love to spend almost all their time outdoors tending their gardens or indoors baking and cooking with their homegrown produce. These Sims also gain the Baking, Cooking, and Gardening Skills faster than other Sims and tend to make some of the most delicious dishes.

PROXIMITY BUFFS
  • +1 Happy Buff from Proximity to Gardener (another Sim with the Gardener Trait or Gardening Skill Level 3–10)

CONTINUOUS LOOTS
  • +3 Happy Buff from Gardener Trait when tending garden (Timed Buff with 2-hour duration)
  • +2 Happy Buff from Gardener Trait when baking, cooking, watching the Cooking Channel, watching cooking shows for ideas, or watching culinary videos (Active Buff)

CONTINUOUS STATISTIC MODIFIERS
  • Fun increases for duration of Timed Buff
  • Hunger decreases for duration of Active Buff
  • Hygiene decreases for duration of Timed Buff

EFFECTIVE SKILL MODIFIERS
  • Baking Skill (1)
  • Cooking Skill (1)
  • Gardening Skill (2)
  • Gourmet Cooking Skill (1)

STATISTIC MULTIPLIERS
  • Increases Baking Skill 1.5x faster
  • Increases Cooking Skill 1.5x faster

  • Increases Gourmet Cooking Skill 1.5x faster
  • Increases Culinary Career Performance 1.5x faster
  • Increases Gardener Career Performance 2x faster

OCCASIONAL EVENTS
  • 40% chance of +2 Focused Buff from Gardener Trait when outdoors on a residential lot (4-hour duration)
  • 40% chance of +2 Inspired Buff from Gardener Trait when watching the Cooking Channel, watching cooking shows for ideas, or watching culinary training videos (4-hour duration)
