Thelonius

I've been an avid Simmer for over a decade, and I've built a lot of houses over the years. They've been okay, but nothing special, and it wasn't until recently that I felt I had houses good enough to share. Lately, I feel like my building skills have turned a corner, and so I wanted to revisit one of my earlier builds to see if I could improve it.

Mingus is one of my earlier builds. It's nice, but I was never very happy with it. I always knew it could be better, that I could do better. And now I have. Thelonius takes the basic structure of Mingus and expands it. It uses the same basic floor plan as Mingus, but I've moved the main entrance, placed the house on a larger lot, changed the decor, and improved the roofing and exterior. The real improvement is the landscaping. I had a lot of fun using the terrain tools to sculpt the lot and finally bring some of the wow I've seen in other people's designs to one of my own.

Thelonius uses no custom content. For best results, place this house on the Twin Oracle lot in Newcrest or Vacuous Green in Del Sol Valley. Due to a weird collection of Sims 4 quirks, the house will be placed backwards on any other lot and cannot be rotated due to a terrain constraint issue. Make sure you use the "bb.moveobjects on" cheat before placing the lot.
