1920's Vintage Home Design ~ The Carroll 3bed/1bath, 8th in the Series

The eighth house in my "1920s Series" - inspired by 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - is slightly whimsical in design. I wonder if it was named after author Lewis Carroll? This house, named The Carroll, features three bedrooms (two are upstairs, and one downstairs - which I would turn into a 'den' if I lived here), a large living room, kitchen with Dining Alcove, basement, and a carriage house style garage. Oh! ...and one bathroom.

I tried (and failed miserably) to make the front bay window offset like it is in the original drawing. Between the unforgiving EAxian roofs and the unfriendly EAxian chimney... *le sigh* I guess it was the seventh impossible thing. And, just couldn't be done. I know it looks perfectly fine the way I have it, but I soooo wanted it to look exactly like the picture.


This house is furnished with two double beds, three nightstands, an armoire, a closet, an alarm clock, loveseat, dining table, and a folding chair out on the back porch. Appliances, plumbing, and lighting are included. The telephone is on the wall in the living room. The front door is burglar alarmed. The range and fireplace have smoke alarms. This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
Pictures were taken with Invisible Fire Alarms in place, but the lot is packaged without that mod. So, you will see the fire alarm over the range in the kitchen, and the fireplace in the living room.
Pictures were also taken with the Invisible Driveway, but the lot is not packaged with it.
I highly recommend both invisifying options! .

I also use FRAPs to take in-game pictures, and PhotoShop to clean/collage said pictures.
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror - as per her policy, it's not used or included in this lot.
