Hi everyone !

Painted at the end of Vouet's stay in Italy, which he left for Paris in 1627, this young warrior saint belongs less to his Caravaggesque vein than to the clear and ample style which he will make triumph in Paris.
This painting was realized by the French artist Simon Vouet (1590-1649) around 1627. It is currently on display at the Mus?e du Louvre, Paris.
