Hi everyone!

This Surtout de Table (Table Centerpiece) was a present from Napoleon to his stepson, Eugene de Beauharnais, possibly at the time of the latter's wedding.
This large and complex work was made by the French Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843) and is currently kept by the National Museum of American History.

NB: If you place plates on the surtout, Sims will be able to serve themselves.
