What used to be a basketball stadium for top players like James LeSim, Magic Simsin and many others, soon became deserted when the SBA (Sims Basketball Association), sold the team.

Soon enough, the ambitious residents of New Crest, decided that the stadium could still be useful. It first started with a couple of vendors, opening their stalls - any place is a good place to set up a business, right? As a favor to those Sims who missed the Humor and Hijinx Festival, a stall was set up, so those unfortunate sims can now buy the merchandise when their schedule allows them to!

A representative of the SimSoda & Snax company, eventually decided to contribute, and placed two of his vending machines on the basketball court. With snacks and food readily available, more and more Sims started to show interest in the sport again.

And this is how the bar was born. Realizing that playing hard can be stressful, one Sim decided that a bar where the Sims can just go and unwind afterwards, would be an excellent contribution to the Slam & Dunk stadium. The unused offices also gives Sims plenty to read and relax to.

All and all, the Slam & Dunk became the life of the town again - even if it is in a controversial manner. It's still an unofficial sports bar, because the Sim who started the bar, is awaiting their juice license.
