Hi everyone!

The meal at the house of Simon the Pharisee is an episode in the life of Christ reported by the four Gospels but with great differences on the place, the personality of the woman, the name of the protester and the words of Jesus.
Painted by the Italian artist Paolo Veronese near 1572 for the refectory of a Venetian monastery, the painting was given by the Venetian Republic to Louis XIV of France in 1664. It is currently on display at the Hercule Room at Versailles.
