The Happy Homestead mod is a mod I created so your Sims can experience and embrace some good and honest hard work on a real homestead! I love The Sims 4 Cottage Living and Horse Ranch packs, however, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed they offered everything to have a homestead but did not recognize my Sims' homestead as a HOMESTEAD! And alas, I got my hands dirty and created Happy Homestead, the Sims 4 mod for homesteading!

Included: Happy Homesteading is in its earliest stages. Currently, this mod includes an Aspiration found under the Nature category. This includes the Aspiration Trait "Handy Homesteader" which will allow your Sim's Handiness Skill to increase quicker than normal. After the 5 levels within the Aspiration are completed, your Sim will be rewarded with the Self-Sufficient Trait for all their hard work!

With this Aspiration, I did my best to incorporate what I think most homesteads have to thrive from the land and animals. There is plenty of work to be done to keep your Sim busy until I add more gameplay. Expect many more elements for your Sims to enjoy and experience living off their land and bearing the fruits of their labor soon! And if you have any suggestions or need support, please reach out.
