Hi Everyone, this is my first ever mod for the Sims 2 and I hope some of you will get some use out of it.

Have you ever wanted to use the Apartment Life or Mansions and Gardens Mansard roof pieces but got annoyed that they don't drop down with the walls?

Today I've uploaded a set of files that will allow you to make your fancy attics and be able to see whats going on in there.

All objects, except the outer corners, will now attach to and hide with the walls much like the "Too Steep" windowed Mansard pieces from M&G do.

The outer corners haven't been changed as in order for the main pieces to hide they have to stick to a wall, which the corner pieces cannot do without a wall piece also sticking out. I'm looking into solutions for that

Update: Secondary set uploaded which are seperate items from the originals.

The original files (AL-M&GMansardsRoofCutaway) mostly exist so pre-existing builds using the vanilla pieces don't need to be rebuilt.

The (AL-M&GMansardRoofCutaway-seperate) files are unique items for those who want to keep the original view-blocking ones for whatever reason

You can find these in Build mode/Architecture

AL-M&GMansardsRoofCutaway will override the vanilla objects so I'd advise you to place the downloads into your install directory to prevent accidental deletions as the originals will have CC stars and an option to delete.

By default it's C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins
If you have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins

AL-M&GMansardRoofCutaway-seperate contrains unique items that are suffixed with "Cutaway" in the catalogue.

Polygon Count:

Same as original as they override the objects
