Blue Ridge Motor Inn

My Parents had 5 weeks vacation during the summer. They used to take us on educational trips during that periods. One of my favorite places was the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the 1940's and 1950's, the small mom and pop motels were usually called Motor Inns. I was always thrilled if the Motor Inn that we stopped at had a pool as they were not common in Florida at that time. This is a motor Inn that I can remember stopping at as a child. The Office usually housed the family as well as the office. The inside is of course mostly fictionalize (you sometimes could see some of their personal space while checking in on the lower floor). I left this lot as a residential because it is intended for a family to own the lot. After you move the family in you can change the lot to residential rental. You can also change the number of days for the rental (it is under the business icon at the lower right corner, you will see it after you change the lot to residential rental with your family on the lot. The rentals are efficiencies. The lot has also has a small cafe, laundry area and recreational area. Enjoy.
