Simple Counter Solution

This is a super low-poly counter island, designed to blend in with walls. I envision using it as a retail counter or a reception desk, but it does function as an island where Sims can prepare or eat food. It has no doors or drawers. The base uses BB’s Niche as a repository and I made a variety of different textures for the counter top.

It comes in two versions: one with edge pieces where the base gets narrower and the countertop has edging, and another which doesn’t so it will remain flush with an adjacent wall. The no edges version takes both its textures and its meshes from the original.

There are three colours of laminate bundled in with the mesh, and three separate recolour packages with marble, tile and wood textures. All the textures are from TS4 kitchens and I edited them so that they can be used as a repository for counters that will take sinks (I haven't made any yet, but when I do, I'll add them to the recommended items!). They all have a corresponding dirty state.

I’ve also uploaded a PSD file for recolours. It includes greyscale versions of the four patterns I’ve used above, a dirt overlay, UV maps of the counter tops, and a template for where to copy and paste various sections of the texture to make it work if you want to have a matching counter, as you need to squish the texture a bit to get it into the right shape.
