Noël, c'est cet instant suspendu où tout semble plus doux qu'il ne l'est réellement. Le sapin trône fièrement au milieu du salon, croulant sous les boules, les guirlandes et les étoiles. Le parfum du pin se mêle à celui du feu dans la cheminée et au chocolat chaud fumant sur la table. Le houx scintille sur la couronne, les guirlandes étincellent. Le Père Noël prépare en secret les cadeaux qui s'empileront bientôt sous le sapin. Et dehors, sur le seuil, le bonhomme de neige attend, un sourire glacé aux lèvres, gardien de glace de cette parenthèse où chacun, l'espace d'un instant, retrouve un peu son âme d'enfant.

Christmas is that suspended moment when everything seems sweeter than it actually is. The tree stands proudly in the middle of the living room, laden with baubles, garlands, and stars. The scent of pine mingles with that of the fire in the fireplace and the steaming hot chocolate on the table. Holly gleams on the wreath, the garlands twinkle. Santa Claus is secretly preparing gifts that will end up piled high under the tree. And outside, on the doorstep, the snowman waits, a frozen smile on his face, the icy guardian of this interlude where everyone, just for a moment, becomes a little bit of a child again.
