Trying this again... my last attempt at uploading this house was thwarted by phantom custom content that I never even used in the making of the house. O_O
This time, it's just the lot for download, and there was NO custom content used. It was all Maxis made, however I am running Nightlife and can't tell if the wallpapers and such were from the original game, EP1 or EP2. Therefore, I'm labelling it as Nightlife.
This is a remake of Lot 6 from the original Sims1 game. It was the little 'cheap' house right at the entranceway to the original neighborhood. A few changes have been made, as follows:
1. House has been raised up onto foundations and the back patio was made into a raised deck. (I like the foundations, so sue me.)
2. Bedroom extended a couple of squares. It was just TOO small and I'm wondering how the heck I managed to use it in the original game. Oh wait, I remember... I extended it THEN too.
3. Old tacky wallpaper and flooring unavailable. New tacky wallpaper and flooring used instead.
4. Front porch added.
5. White picket fence around entire lot. Can be taken down to add a driveway for NL users.
The lot is 2x2 and the house costs about $11,566 when put on a lot. A perfect starter home for a Sim just getting out on their own... or for a couple who don't mind being close.
There is plenty of room for a pool, driveway, trees, or anything else you wish to add. I do NOT furnish my houses, half the fun is in decorating! The only gardening that was done was to add the pink rosebushes from the original game, and the flowerbed back by the patio, same as it was.
Wife, dog and 2.5 kids not included.
Let me know what you think! If you like it, say so or just say thanks. :D

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
