At this point all I do are walls/floors/recolors. Personally, I don't care how you want to use my stuff as long as it isn't the obvious, Change the name and claim it's mine! But if you want to use my walls in a lot you're going to upload somewhere else? Go for it. As for my recolors, if it's a maxis item I recolored, I don't much care what you do with it. If it's a custom mesh made by someone else, I do expect you to follow the meshers wishes. For example, Paleoanth doesn't want her meshes at the exchange, so any recolors I've done of her meshes cannot be uploaded to the exchange. Credit is nice, but if you're not altering my wall/floor/clothing files then the credit is in with the item and I'm fine with that.
