Default My monarch won't go home..
After completing the Effenmont quest, my king's "home" is now the forest - i.e. if I click "go home" button he goes to the forest instead of the castle. I've tried everything I can think of , but can't change his home location back to the castle. Anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?

That's really funny because my King's called Forrest

If you get them married to another hero (divorce the Effenmont Princess/Prince first) the game should ask which 'house' you want them both to live in.....hopefully they'll both end up in the castle and not the forest.

I also had this happen. I had 5 kids and they were all born in the forest, and returned there each evening. I just gave up and started a new kingdom.

Thanks- after annulling the marriage, the king started living in the castle again.

This should be in the find the funny section =D
I know it must have been highly annoying for you, especially if you quit that kingdom and started another one, but you made me laugh so much

Sort of same problem here, my King married another hero being the bard from the tavern she moved into the castle, they had two kids, king went and got himself killed heir took over and then decided to live in the tavern with his mother! Other child gone AWOL! Will see if marrying him to someone will help!

Well that didnt work for me, married him to someone option didnt show up so annuled the marriage and tried someone else still didnt work. Used the sim tracker to find his brother and he's at the village stuck and cant use any commands to get him out!

Rome wasn't built in a day

The someone he gets married to has to be another hero for the option to show. (Sorry if it was, you didn't specify though, so thought I'd point that out.)
Have you tried inviting the brother over from the mailbox? Not saying it will work, but he might show up, it's worth a try..unless you've tried already.

Never even thought of inviting from the mailbox will give that a go. No wasnt marrying him to another hero, but after he got married for the third time (3 more and I may change his name to Henry VIII!!) he now has no home so to speak, click the home button and nothing comes up, but he seems to want to spend his spare time at the Castle now instead of the Tavern so think I can live with that!

Oh it has to be another hero so you can get the option of where they should live. You should marry him again to a hero, it would be interesting to know if the game still recognizes the castle as his place.
LOL you'll have to kill a couple of the wives before you'll be allowed to change his name, and set up your new church too, maybe the brother has gone to the village to check out suitable buildings for the new church premises :P
You could always try to reset the brother, unless it's that thing where he's 'moved away', so he's still in the relationship panel but doesn't exist anymore. I had that happen to one of my Princesses. My King married the handmaiden from the village and when they divorced I opted to have their daughter live with the mother, many game weeks later they both disappeared, they were still in the relationship panel but not actually there anymore, but if your King's brother has his house set as the castle then this shouldn't happen to him.

I have this issue too and I didn't get an option which is set as the home so now my monarch and her servants are always in the forest, it may be because I used cheats to get the marriage due to the bug of have wedding here resets so many times
I'll have to make them remarry again then divorce
