In 1999, I moved to my current residence, and sometime during 2000, one of my neighbors introduced me to Sims 1. I really liked it, but I didn't have the PC to play it myself.
During the years that followed, I played TS1 occasionally, on other people's PCs.
Then, in 2005 (if I'm not mistaking) my sis brought home 4 CDs, upon which there was written: The Sims 2...
And the rest is history...

I have played it since 2002 (sims 1) and then I started to buy eps for sims 1.One day sims 2 came out,but at the beginning I didn't liked it.Then again I started to play sims 1 again,but without cc.Somewhere in 2006 I got computer which was able to handle sims 2 with bad quality,and I played it.Then in 2008,I downloaded my first cc from this site.The first thing that I exported in my game was swan mesh by smithycpl.Through the time I got new PC and I started to buy eps and sps.Then I started to play sims 1 again with cc.At end,I returned to sims 2,and I started to create for MTS.
In all,this is about 7 or 8 years of playing sims.

Hm... I started playing Sims 2 back in 6th grade, so by now 3 years. I've honestly never played Sims 1 before...

I started playing when I was 6,not lying,and I remember it cuz once I was playing just before an earthquake.my cousin had it,and gave me the sims 1,and I started sims 2 when I was 8.
I remember my cousins didn't let me and my other cousin play it cuz we were totally addicted :D

I'm guessing since 2007 because that's when the Sims 2 double deluxe came out and I remember getting the sims 2 pets for Christmas one year and i know that was before apartment life was announced.

edit: I apparently got the date off by a year, the date i was thinking of is form deluxe so from sometime in 2008

i'm not sure how long i have been playing the sims, i do know i have only been playing the PC version of the sims for about four years but i have played console versions of the sims for about four years before i started playing the PC version
so i'm guessing that i have been playing the sims for about 8 years

Since I was 6. (TS2) I remember, I couldn't even read properly so I would always be confused with the needs, thinking the hygiene was actually the bladder..
That makes it 10 years!
