Default Simlogical is gone .. It's Back :)
The domain expired. I thought Inge was still active or semi-active in Sims, maybe not in 2, but in 3 or 4 ..

Anyone know how to get in touch with Inge to find out ...? Or is Simlogical another site that's now lost to us

on the wayback machine go to the snapshots taken in an earlier year like 2016 and it will work it just doesnt work if it's still set to current day because it's trying to archive a page that isn't there anymore

I still had the homepage cached in my browser and it says at the bottom that the site is managed by SimsWorld.Net but I can't find any sort of contact information.

I saw that as well and when I went to the SimsWorld page there was no real contact info given. However, the information posted there seems to be by someone that goes by the name of Lilith Pleasant.

@Inge Jones is a member here at MTS and she was active as recently as August of this year. However in her last post (in early August), she says she no longer owns the Simlogical site. Nonetheless, since she created almost everything on the site, I'm sure she'll be interested to hear that the domain has expired. I'll PM her to let her know, but, since I've tagged her, she'll almost certainly read this post too.

I saw that too (afterwards .. isn't that always the case). All we can do is hope that the this Lilith Pleasant person who it seems the the one in charge is able to reinstate Simlogical at least so the stuff can be saved or maybe even mirrored as those done by LiquidSims. We don't need to have a mass panic of everyone tryin to get the stuff, but in case it's not restored a common SFS file of Inge stuff would be a good idea.

Personally I have no interest in Sims 1 or Sims 3 stuff, only Sims 2.

I'm guessing that the site itself is still active, but just inaccessible because the domain doesn't exist anymore.

Inge's name was listed on the whois record at one point, but in 2022 there was a transfer to one of those domain-privacy services. As simsworld.net is also registered to the same domain-privacy service, so I'd guess that they now own it. Unfortunately, still see no way to contact them.

It's such a shame that Simlogical is (presumably) gone. Does anyone have a backup of all their stuff? I only use some of it.

Before y'all give up on simlogical, let's see what response I get from Inge, Her most recent post here (August 3rd) finishes with the sentence: "BTW I no longer own the simlogical site, the current owner kindly offered to take it off my hands."

I'm quite hopeful; she has helped me before.

ICANN is showing that the domain just was renewed until 2025-11-03. Just 20 minutes ago, if I did the timezone calculations right.

I'm getting the 'domain expired' page for anything that isn't cached. It might take a few hours for DNS changes to propagate back.

Unfortunately, maybe not. I had a lookover at the latest DNS records and there's references to a bodis.com— which is a domain parking company. There's usually a grace period for expired domains, so they could be doing this on behalf of the registrar, but I not entirely sure.

Simlogical.com works. www.simlogical.com leads to the domain-expired page. Whoops.

It has ads now when it didn't before. Again, lets not jump in haste to anything. AndrewGloria messaged Inge, and I've sent an email to what I think might be Lilith Pleasant. It's always good to be watchful and aware. I jus wish we'd of been more aware of what was goin on with Affinity and was able to save it before it disappeared .. for good :/

No, it's working for me now - it usually takes a few hours for the DNS changes to propagate, so just bad timing of my lookup. I'm now seeing that it's now changed back to Websavers, which is a hosting company.

I feel sorry for anyone who owns a Sims site lately. Down less than 24 hours and everyone is panicking and emailing them.

Considerin what happened with Rebeccah and Affinity Sims. Her loss and that of her site and most of what was with it was a a very sad thing. So I'm glad that Simlogical is back up and that while you may not be in charge you're still here with us
