This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Is it OK to corrupt a hood
if you don't really 'play' it and view it as dispensable? I have a new laptop and UC won't work on it so I've installed LC, which does seem to be working (touch wood!) so far. It means I'll be starting from scratch with new neighbourhoods/families so I thought I'd take the opportunity to tidy up my downloads folder a bit before I start. I remember I had a few dodgy foods that would freeze the sim half way through cooking, or leave a blank space in inventory if stored in there or whatever. I'm not 100% sure which ones they were though so I want to go through them and test them out. I know if you delete a food after it's been used in your neighbourhood it can cause corruption because of the memories associated with cooking it, so what I'm wondering is, can I use a neighbourhood I'd never normally use, like Strangetown, and test them all there? It wouldn't kind of 'contaminate' the other neighbourhoods if that one gets corrupted would it?

No, it doesn't "spread" to other neighbourhoods, corruption can't "infect" your game and your other neighborhoods. It's just going to be limited to the neighbourhood you're going to test the foods in.

Try using https://modthesims.info/d/673513/memory-commander.html to mass delete invalid food

As far as I'm aware, memory commander doesn't delete invisible tokens, and I don't think there's any way to fix SWAFs affected by deleted food except in SimPE.

This is what I have a testing neighbourhood for.
