I would like to know if there's a way to remove a sim from the relationship list (through a mod or SimPE).
My idea is this:
I want a baby sim not to know his own mother. Also, I want the mother not to know her own child. That's because I will transfer the baby to the orphanage and I don't want them to have contact (at least until the baby is old enough and wants to meet his biological parents)
I don't want to remove their blood relation (meaning I don't want to edit the family tree) cause I don't want weird situations in which half-brothers fall in love

Just use the Sim Blender to unset the have met flag.

It would be a bit weird if the mother doesn't remember having a child and giving it up.

Removing that flag won't affect any actual memories.

I often use it if im running a shop. You end up meeting so many NPC customers and they end up in your relationship panel and their telephone directory end up huge.

Will it prevent my sims from calling each other on the phone?
I don't want the child to autonomously call his mother on the phone while I'm playing with her. Same goes for the mother: I don't want her to call her child while he's in the orphanage (unless they reconnect somehow, of course).

Yes. If you don't know someone then you can't call them. Think about the Sims telephone directory it only contains people they know.
