Default SOLVED Cannot Locate Save Folder
Hi. So I've been trying to get SimPE to recognize my game and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm playing on an M1 mac using parallels SimPE ver 77 and it's worked before so I don't think that's the problem. It worked fine back when I used Sim RPC for the ultimate collection but unfortunately I had to switch to Magipacks after EA took RPC down. I think I've set all of the paths correctly but it just DOES NOT recognize my save folder. I've tried switching the paths to the ones for the Legacy Collection on steam since that's worked before too but nope! I just wanted to edit some genetics I'm losing my mind

UPDATE: I have found a workaround! I needed to copy my Ea Games folder into C:/Users/*name*/Documents (as there wasn't anything in that folder prior) and SimPE COULD read that. That does mean that every time I make changes to genetics or whatever I have to copy the Neighborhood folder from there over to the actual save location which is annoying but I'll take it

Me? Sarcastic? Never.

Nope, that's just how Parallels sets up files I guess. I have tried C:/User and C:/*my name* but neither of those have the save folder. I can mess around with the downloads and neighborhood folders in C:/mac/documents/ea games/The sims 2 and have it affect my game just fine so the save folder is definitely in there, SimPE just doesn't seem to recognize it.

Can you show the Documents folder in your file browser?
